Quote 1- "I dare you to, murderer.. And kill me too, son of an evil mother"(pg. 105)
Quote 2- "I wouldn't marry you even if i were dead"(pg. 109).

Themes:
Change is the main and only theme is this chapter. It is evident that we see this by how Aureliano has comppletely distanced himself from his family for some reason.

Magical Realism:
It is very impressing that one guy can do so much. It feels like this man has someone on his side that helps him to do what he does. Colonel Gregorio could fight off a fleet of opposing troops, with just himself. It is very magical that one man could get rid of a large number of men with weapons.

Characters Development:
Aureliano- changes into a military man, and becomes devoted to the war. With his experience in the war, he becomes wiser.
Ursula- begins to run the householdand takes total control of everything that she needs to do.
Jose Arcadio- the son goes from a little boy that develops in a man who punishes people for petty reasons.

Nicely done!

One suggestion: be aware of vague phrases (i.e. "for some reason") as they take away from the clarity and awesome-ness your your writing.
